Requiring a H&S Program has become increasingly necessary due to larger corporations insisting that contractors have and maintain a Health and Safety standard better or at least equivalent to their own. A Health and Safety Program should contain at least the following components:- Company Policies, Hazard Assessment, Safe work practices, Safe job procedures, Company rules, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Preventive maintenance, Training/Safety meetings, Safety Inspections, Accident/Incident investigations, Emergency preparedness, Records/Statistics, Waste management, H&S Committee/Miscellanious.
